I randomly found Val on IG when I was looking for photographers in the San Diego area! I absolutely loved her warm, romantic style & was exactly what I was looking for! Val was so kind, personable, helpful & accommodating from the moment I booked to the moment we got our photos back. She gave us helpful tips on where to park, gave us some Halloween candy since it was October & even took a polaroid of us at sunset to remember the shoot/our time in Cali. I was blown away when we got our photos back- I’m super picky with photos & I truly loved them all. She truly captured our love & personalities from such a short time being together! Forever grateful I found Val & we invested in a shoot with her- now we have photos from one of our favorite memories & several framed in our home. Highly recommend her- you will not be disappointed!!

Val, where do I begin? After having my daughter, I was very self conscious. Took photos with other photographers and just wasn’t happy with how my daughter and I were portrayed. When you took the photos of my daughter and I in our mother’s day minis, I cried when I saw the gallery. I felt beautiful for once! My daughter was smiling in most photos which has been so hard to do with other photographers. You could see love when you look at these pictures & we owe that to you!

I don’t even know where to possibly begin with this review! I found Val on Instagram, and fell in love with her style and how she captures the moments so perfectly. I knew I had to contact her immediately because she had everything I was looking for in a photographer. She responded right away, and the rest was history! I had a very specific vision in mind with how I wanted my maternity pictures to be portrayed, and Val literally made my vision come to life. Val made me feel so comfortable being in front of a camera, and knowing exactly what angles would be best and how to do it. Val definitely took the time to understand what I wanted, and she executed it perfectly! She even got my husband to join in more pictures than he had originally wanted too! I had a maternity photo shoot with Valeria and would highly recommend her! Not only was she extremely professional but she was so pleasant to be around and she made sure that that I was comfortable at all times during my shoot. I love that she is a natural at just getting you to loosen up and feel confident. Maternity, depending on how far along you are (I was in my third trimester) can also be really tiring and require some water/ bathroom breaks. She is so understanding of this and really encourages you to do what you need to feel your best. Most importantly though she listens to what you envision for your shoot and does her best to make that a reality. Really happy with all of my photos and would definitely use her again in the future without hesitation.

Valeria Guerrero, our wedding photographer, was beyond our wildest dreams. The moments she captured have allowed us to relive our magical wedding day, the best day of our lives so far, over and over. Here natural photography skill speaks for itself. Her kindness and gentle spirit make even the shyest person feel at ease in front of the camera. Her eye for editing is truly unparalleled to any photographer we’ve either one ever worked with (and we’ve worked with a lot because we are both actors and occasional models haha). Weddings can be hectic but her personality is so calming and her expertise really helped the flow of the day stay joyful and easy. We got all the shots we wanted times 1000. She is truly invested in her clients and her authenticity is so evident in the way she communicates with you and the way she personalizes her services. I feel like I’ve gained a friend after hiring her and honestly I will only be shooting with her going forward. We already have our next shoot in the books!

Val was the best person we could’ve chosen to take our family photos and my daughter’s one year old photos! It is not easy to get my daughter to pay attention or smile on cue but Val was able to do it for almost every photo, even after a missed nap! I was also thankful that she showed me pictures throughout the session and asked for any specific ideas that I had. She made us feel included in the process. Our photos arrived within the exact time phrase that she provided. As soon as I opened the album from her, I was in tears. She was able to capture the best moments of my little family, but also included the not so “perfect” pictures which I absolutely loved, The only bad thing is I can’t decide which pictures to print because I love all of them!

The first thing I will say is that no matter how thoughtfully this review is written, it will never fully encapsulate what a pleasure it was to work with & be photographed by Val. I have been following Val from the start of her photography journey and knew early on that when the time came, she would be the only photographer I would trust to take my college graduation photos. I knew that these photos would be looked at for many years to come so I needed to have them done perfectly— I couldn’t have imagined them turning out any better. I truly believe that Val was able to capture the perfect photos that brought out my authentic self not only because she is incredibly talented with her camera, but also because she has a natural warmth to her that allowed me to feel comfortable, confident, & beautiful in front of the camera. I had never been professionally photographed and was nervous, but the jitters quickly slipped away as she gently reminded me that this is my moment & it is her job to make my vision come true. When my photos were finally posted on social media, they received so much love! Next thing I knew, I had 6 friends messaging me that they had booked their graduation shoot with Val as well! The photos spoke for themselves and she was the hottest photographers at the University of San Diego during the Spring of 2022. I could not have asked for a more memorable shoot or turn out of my photos. Val is my photographer turned friend, and has already been selected as my go-to lady for all of my life milestones that are yet to come!

Val is excellent! My husband and I loved seeing Val’s work and when we first reached out to her, she met with us right away. After our initial phone call, we knew she would be perfect for our engagement shoot and wedding day. My husband and I are very shy in front of the camera but Val and her guidance made us feel more comfortable and we were happy with all of her work! She is as wonderful as they come. My experience with Val was amazing and I hope every photographer can be like her. She is so helpful from the first contact. She was quick to respond. She worked with my availability and listened to my ideas/inspirations and suggested ones that align with mine. She was early to the shoot to make sure we have the space reserved. Walked us through the whole process and she was so friendly and knowledgeable, that it made the whole experience way more enjoyable. We were able to capture so many amazing moments. Val is arguably the best photographer for any occasion that you can have. She is so patient, supportive, and enthusiastic during all photoshoots and events. THE DAVIS FAMILY

I found Val browsing through a friend’s Instagram page and I’m glad I did. We have booked her for our daughter’s 1st birthday smash cake photos and family Christmas session. She is wonderful with little children and her 20 minute sessions are ideal if your little one does not have the attention span for a whole hour session. She was very sweet and patient with our daughter and her birthday photos were just perfect! She is readily available to answer any questions and turn around time was quick. I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly!
